The new Shannon 57/595 HPS is an extended version of the highly successful Shannon 53/55 HPS. Proven over tens of thousands of miles of offshore passages in three short years, the Shannon 53 HPS has provided an alternative for sailors who want to keep sailing but also desire the comfort, expansive accommodations, and the performance of a fast trawler motor yacht, without the range limitations of the fuel tank capacity of a pure power boat. The S53 HPS and S57/595 HPS have the ability to power at 12 knots with twin 110HP engines or a single 200HP diesel with a range of over 1200 miles, and obviously can sail forever using no fuel. Besides being a great motor yacht perfect for the ICW with a draft of only 4'9", the 53/55 HPS and 557/595 HPS also offer exhilarating sailing performance on all points of sail with speeds of 9+ knots and a mast height under 65’ - also perfect for the ICW.

In response to customer feedback for more on-deck space, Walt Schulz revisited his original design, and the new Shannon 57/595 HPS has all the positive attributes of the Shannon 53 HPS in a slightly larger hull form. The additional space allows for an extended aft lounge lower deck and dinghy storage upper deck. This larger area allows for more outside entertaining including al fresco dining for up to six and the ability to accommodate a cockpit wet bar, fish cleaning station, or life raft storage area. The upper deck space can be used for storage of larger tenders, paddle boards, wind surfers, kayaks, etc. Like the 53/55 HPS, the 57/595 HPS offers a protected inside helm station and raised outside twin wheel cockpit steering station with 360 degree visibility. Similar to all Shannons, the rig setup and deck layout for the new 57/595 HPS were designed to be safely and easily handled by two people in every wind and sea condition, and docking in tight quarters is made especially easy with twin engines and a bow thruster.
 

Every built-to-order Shannon 57/595 HPS features a custom interior layout with unlimited owner input, with as many as four staterooms and three heads. Because of its modern full-beam aft hull shape, the Shannon 57/595 HPS has amazing interior volume.
